Managed PoE Network Switches

NEMA enclosures are ideal for protecting networking equipment. At ArmorLogix, we supply commercial-grade managed network switches as add-ons to your enclosure purchase. These network switches can power regular IP cameras, IP PTZ cameras, and other data infrastructure. Their speeds ensure high-definition video quality and granular control over networks.

We can fulfill your needs if you are in the market for a PoE managed switch. We have models available with four to 24 ports and up to 2 x GBIC interfaces. We also stock an excellent long-range PTP wireless bridge with a PoE injector if you are looking for a telecommunication terminal.

Features of a Managed PoE Switch

Choosing a switch-managed PoE for your networking needs is crucial for controlling and managing large networks. Our selection of managed switches features the following:

• Conformation with network standards: All switches conform to IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3ab, IEEE802.3af, and IEEE802.3at standards.
• Multiple ports: Our switches’ number of ports ranges from four to a 24-port PoE-managed switch.
• Fast and efficient data transmission: Our switches all have a high back-plane bandwidth ranging from 7.2 to 52 gigabits per second.
• Flow control: All switches have IEEE802.3x Flow Control, allowing high video quality and better framerate.

In general, a managed network switch will also provide great security options such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS)

Applications of a Commercial PoE Switch

There are many applications for a commercial network switch in a NEMA enclosure. The amount of control network administrators can exert over them makes them the perfect solution for:

• Enterprise networks: The security capabilities and traffic monitoring over all networks are crucial for optimal functioning in an enterprise network system.
• Data centers: These centers move massive amounts of data back and forth every second, so control over how data travels over the network and who receives it is imperative to their operations.
• Large-scale surveillance systems: Surveillance systems are complex, especially in a commercial environment. That is why only a managed network switch can do the job, as these systems require complex features such as VLANs, QoS, port mirroring, and enhanced port security.
